Laura Vanessa Manga García

About

A business administrator, tax law specialist, and master's degree holder in social intervention, she is a youth and social leader from Barranquilla, Colombia, recognized for transforming streets and communities into venues for culture, dialogue, and citizen participation. Founder of La Cuadra Bacana and an alumnus of Global Shapers Hub Barranquilla, she has dedicated more than a decade to creating meeting spaces where art, tactical urban planning, and youth leadership become tools for change in working-class neighborhoods such as La Luz, Rebolo, and the city's southeastern region. A business administrator, tax law specialist, and master's degree holder in social intervention, her work has been described as a bridge between generations: a young voice that builds positive role models for social transformation, community strengthening, and building trust among Barranquilla's youth. With a critical vision, human sensitivity, and a Caribbean spirit, Laura Manga embodies the conviction that youth has no expiration date, only horizons to explore.
