El Informe es una iniciativa conjunta del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD) y el Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas (UNFPA) en México.

Su objetivo es ofrecer un análisis riguroso y territorializado de las condiciones de vida de las personas jóvenes en el país, a partir del diseño y aplicación del Índice de Desarrollo Humano de las Juventudes (IDH-J)

Con una metodología adaptada al grupo etario de 12 a 29 años, el informe incorpora las dimensiones clave del IDH —salud, educación e ingreso— junto con indicadores complementarios, brindando una mirada integral sobre los retos estructurales que enfrentan las juventudes mexicanas.

El documento también presenta hallazgos relevantes y recomendaciones puntuales para fortalecer las políticas públicas locales en favor de este sector, con el propósito de avanzar hacia un desarrollo más justo, inclusivo y sostenible.
