The Government of Mexico City announced the “Youth for Peace” festival, an initiative of the Mexico City Youth Institute (@InjuveCDMX) that seeks to guarantee access to culture, recreation, freedom of expression and seeks to combat the stigmatization of alternative music of youth, within the well-being and security strategy of attention to the causes and dignity of public space.
The event will take place on November 25, 26 and December 2, 3. For this event, the authorities expect 25 thousand attendees and the participation of 53 music bands.
There will not only be a lot of music, but also workshops, forums and cultural activities.
On November 25 the festival will take place in the Urban Culture Park, of the Chapultepec Nature and Culture project, on November 26 at the Azcapotzalco Lighthouse, while on December 2 it will be at the Faro Oriente and on December 3 at the Monument to the Revolution.
