Full-time research professor in the Department of Educational Research at Cinvestav IPN, master in Sociology from the University of Montreal, doctor of Sciences with a Specialty in Educational Research from Cinvestav and national emeritus researcher. His main line of research has been directed at policies, institutions and actors in the relationships between education and work, focused from different angles: national policies, institutional and curricular designs; Qualitative research on training for work in secondary and higher education schools, trajectories and transitions from school to work.
