Collaboration and networking are fundamental pillars for success in various fields, such as business, scientific, creative or social. This ability to collaborate effectively and take advantage of synergies between people and organizations has become a determining factor in achieving common objectives. That is why I will share my experience of being part of the national Kybernus youth leadership network.
Kybernus was born in 2011, being a program of the Ricardo Salinas Pliego Center that identifies and promotes, from the local level, youth leaders in the 32 states of the country, so that they have a positive impact on their communities and generate environments conducive to creating inclusive prosperity. It has 7 national networks specialized in Public Policies and Legislative Technique, Sustainability, Art and Culture, Entrepreneurship, Culture of Peace and Human Rights, Education and, finally, the Gender and Sexual Diversity network. Each network facilitates and empowers Kybernus leaders so they can connect, collaborate, exchange ideas and carry out social impact actions.
My incorporation as a new member of the Kybernus network was announced at a national meeting that took place in Acapulco. At this meeting, workshops were given that helped us strengthen our social projects and reflect on our leadership. Without a doubt, for me it was a very learning experience; I met, connected and shared with more leaders who are generating a positive impact in their communities in each state.
These spaces and networks encourage youth to take the step towards national participation and advocacy through various programs and resources designed to strengthen our leadership skills, providing practical tools to understand the challenges and opportunities of our country, analyzing problems from different perspectives and develop innovative solutions.
I have always highlighted the importance of networking and collaborating. As youth, it is essential to promote personal and collective growth. By joining forces, diverse ideas, perspectives and skills can be shared, leading to more creative and effective solutions to today's challenges. Additionally, by establishing connections within a network, lasting relationships are built that can open doors to future professional and personal opportunities.
That is why my personal project focuses on building a support network for entrepreneurs who make handmade products in Latin America, with the purpose of being a virtual space in which they learn, connect and collaborate.
Absolutely, I believe that collaboration between youth can influence decision-making and create a significant impact on issues that directly affect us, such as education, employment, the environment and equality. Thanks to Kybernus, I met leaders who are contributing to positive change in their communities and I want you to know about their incredible projects.
