Jacqueline is a multi-faceted professional and mentor with experience in both technology and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Moi University and a CCNA (Cisco Certified Networks Associate) certification from the African Regional Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI).

She is a dynamic and versatile young woman who has been a key pillar of the Swahilipot Hub Foundation, serving as Project Associate and Executive Associate. Her exceptional leadership, combined with her unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and community development, has made her an invaluable resource for the organization.

As a Project Associate, she plays a crucial role in overseeing and supporting the Case Management (Mentoring) project, which aims to strengthen the capacity of 20,000 opportunity-rich youth and link them to opportunities such as entrepreneurship, employment and education. Jacqueline’s analytical skills and attention to detail enable her to identify opportunities for improvement, leading to more impactful and sustainable initiatives.

In her capacity as a Mentor, Jacqueline provides invaluable guidance and support to young people, helping them to discover their potential and achieve their goals. Her empathetic approach and understanding of the challenges faced by her fellow young people create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can thrive. She has been a professional mentor with two organisations, namely KamiLimu and Wentors, which offer structured mentoring programmes. So far, she has mentored 10 women who are doing exceptionally well in their careers and rising education. Nancy Moraa, one of her mentees in Mombasa County, has managed to register her creative venture, which involves artist and event management. She is in the process of receiving a grant of KES 100,000 to start her business and plans to have her first event in December 2024.

Jacqueline’s mentorship has inspired them to pursue their dreams and become active contributors in their communities. As an Executive Associate, Jacqueline plays a strategic role in the overall management and direction of the Swahilipot Hub Foundation. She contributes to decision-making processes, develops partnerships, and represents the organization at various events and conferences. Jacqueline’s leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships have been instrumental in expanding the foundation’s reach and establishing its reputation as a leading organization in the field of youth development.

Jacqueline’s dedication to her work is evident in her passion for empowering young people and creating positive change. She believes that every individual has the potential to make a difference, and she is committed to providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. Her tireless efforts have not only benefited the Swahilipot Hub Foundation, but have also had a profound impact on the community at large.

She volunteers her time as a board member for the Give For Good organization, which focuses on youth entrepreneurship, health, well-being and education in Mombasa County. Her commitment to making a difference extends beyond her work, demonstrating her genuine desire to contribute to the betterment of society.
