Privacy Notice to Youth Leaders and Social Leaders 

“CITIZEN INITIATIVE FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE CULTURE OF DIALOGUE, AC”, better known as Citizen Initiative, hereby informs you of this Privacy Notice in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations, to inform you that by participating in the activities of the Youth Advocacy Laboratory project, it is essential to create a personal file, whose data will be protected in accordance with the physical, technical and administrative security measures that we have put in place for this purpose.

  1. Identity and Address of the Data Controller.


“CITIZEN INITIATIVE FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE CULTURE OF DIALOGUE, AC”, is responsible for collecting and safeguarding personal data at its main office located at Cerrada 2a de Tlapalli Mz 18 Lt 51, Col. Nuevo Renacimiento de Axalco, Alcaldía Tlalpan, CP 14408 Mexico City, Mexico.

  1. Personal Data and Sensitive Data that is collected:

To carry out the purposes described in this privacy notice, we will classify personal data into the following categories:

  • Identification data.
  • Contact information.
  • Employment data.
  • School data.

 

We inform you that the following data is considered sensitive in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals, which we list in the following categories.

  • Health data.
  • Data of national origin.
  • Gender identity data. 

 

Additionally, we inform you that the aforementioned data is obtained for processing through the following methods, which we detail below:

  • In person: When you come directly to us to apply for one of our activities.
  • Direct: When you provide us with your personal data to apply for one of our activities, through our website, by telephone, email or any other technological means.
  • Indirect: From any other commercially available source of information or as permitted by law.
  1. Purposes of processing the personal data obtained.

Primary Purposes:
The personal data we collect will be used for the following purposes, which are necessary for our recruitment and selection process:

  • Verify and confirm your identity as a candidate, author, participant or beneficiary in the activities of the Youth Advocacy Lab and the JuventudES Platform.
  • Participate in our training and multi-stakeholder dialogue processes.
  • Others related to the promotion of youth leadership. 
  • Conduct socioeconomic studies and other studies required in our recruitment and selection process.

 

  1. Transfer of personal data.


Your personal, financial/asset and sensitive data will never be disclosed or transferred to third parties without your prior authorization; it will only be used for the purposes specified in this privacy notice.

  1. Mechanisms for Exercising Your ARCO Rights and Revoking Consent.


As the owner and sole proprietor of your personal data, you may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition at any time, directly at our offices and/or by sending an email to reports@iniciativaciudadana.org.mx indicating as Subject: “Exercise of ARCO Rights”, attaching the request, current official photo identification, contact information, documentation that supports any modification and/or update to your personal data and in case of relying on a legal representative, the documentation that proves their identity and representation.

Upon receiving your application and finding it complete, we will conduct an analysis of its validity, having 20 business days for this and an additional 15 business days to carry out the corresponding operational and administrative activities to address your application, in compliance with the provisions of the LFPDPPP and its Regulations.

If the response is not satisfactory or you have not received it by the deadline, you have 15 business days to request a "Protection of Rights" procedure before the IFAI, whose application and process you can consult directly on its website www.ifai.org.mx.

If you wish to revoke your consent, the procedure and response times are exactly the same as for exercising your ARCO rights. If you disagree with the response or if it is not being implemented as explained in the response document, you may request a "Verification Procedure" from the IFAI (National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection), the process of which you can consult directly on their website www.ifai.org.mx.

  1. Changes to the Privacy Notice.


Any changes that may be made to the Privacy Notice resulting from changes in administration, operation and/or updates to the Law and Regulations that support it, will be notified to you through its publication within “INICIATIVA CIUDADANA PARA LA PROMOCIÓN DE LA CULTURA DEL DIÁLOGO, AC”. Your data will be safeguarded and protected in accordance with the internal policies and procedures that we have defined within “INICIATIVA CIUDADANA PARA LA PROMOCIÓN DE LA CULTURA DEL DIÁLOGO, AC”, by its responsible party, limiting its use to unauthorized personnel and/or third parties, and prohibiting its unlawful access, use, processing or disclosure.
