She holds a degree in Pedagogy from the University of the Gulf of Mexico, Martínez de la Torre campus. She earned her degree for academic excellence, becoming the first person with a disability in the municipality of Tlapacoyan, Veracruz, to complete professional studies. From a young age, she has been interested in social activism and working on behalf of those most in need, primarily promoting the recognition of the rights of people with disabilities. She has spearheaded the fight to promote inclusive education at all levels and to combat educational backwardness and school dropout rates, as well as the fight for the political participation and representation of vulnerable groups at all three levels of government. She is currently a federal deputy reelected by a Relative Majority of the Morena Parliamentary Group in the 66th Legislature of the Chamber of Deputies, where she serves as Secretary of the Committee on Attention to Vulnerable Groups and a member of the Education and Human Rights Committees, respectively.
