María José Gómez Meingüer

She holds a law degree from Cristóbal Colón University. She is an analyst in the Transparency Unit of the Veracruz Port System (API) and administrator of the DIPLO+ Dissemination Server (diplomas): promoting courses, diplomas, and scholarships. She is an electoral observer for the 2024-2025 Extraordinary Electoral Process. She holds diplomas accredited by UN Women, the Federal School of Judicial Training, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Bank of Mexico, and the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change. She has professional training in notarial and administrative law. She has served on the consular corps of the Honorary Consul of Germany in the State of Veracruz and as a judicial independence monitor at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner in Mexico. She has also completed master's degrees in Public Policy Creation on Global Change and Natural Disasters from the University of Manizales in Colombia, as well as courses for a bachelor's degree in International Relations in Natural Resources and Environmental Law from the University of Salta in Argentina, and in Bioethics in Law from the Catholic University of San Toribio de Mogrovejo in Peru.
