In the complex symphony of today's society, youth represents a fundamental note, a vibrant chord that, when listened to carefully, reveals new melodies of change and progress.

In an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world, the voice and perspective of young people become crucial to building a more inclusive, innovative and resilient society. Youth opinions can also be a catalyst for positive change, analyzing the importance of the spaces in which they have a voice and representation, and how from this unique perspective, innovative ideas emerge that transform realities.

The collaboration and active engagement of youth with society can challenge and break down the negative and stereotypical narratives often attributed to them. Through initiatives such as volunteering, social entrepreneurship and participation in community projects, young people can demonstrate their commitment and ability to generate a positive impact on their environment.

These experiences not only allow them to develop practical and leadership skills, but also give them the opportunity to change society's perception of them. By actively participating in solving real problems, young people can demonstrate their commitment to the common good and their ability to be effective agents of change.

Furthermore, intergenerational collaboration is critical to the success of any youth-led initiative. By working alongside people of different ages and experiences, young people can benefit from the wisdom and guidance of older people, while older people can learn from and be inspired by the energy and creativity of youth.

Ultimately, youth collaboration and engagement with society not only benefits young people and society at large, but is also key to breaking down negative and stereotypical narratives about young people. By demonstrating their commitment and ability to create positive change, young people can change the way they are perceived by society and contribute significantly to building a more inclusive, innovative and resilient future for all.

These reflections will be addressed in a dialogue between young people from Mexico and Colombia on April 16 at the Interactive Museum of Economics in Mexico City.

I will be honored to see and meet you there.
