In the framework of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Global Business Council, the initiative "20 Ideas to Transform Mexico: Proposals and Actions to Transform and Prosper Together" was presented. The more than 60 large companies with a presence in Mexico, operating in 20 economic sectors, representing 401% of foreign direct investment and generating 101% of GDP, while providing employment for 8 million Mexicans, contribute ideas to the national debate regarding the democratic definition of the immediate future, based on five thematic axes: talent development; infrastructure; logistics and connectivity; energy transition; and an effective state; and security. The mission and objective of the 20 Ideas for Mexico are a commitment to teaming up with the various economic, political, and social actors to seize the opportunity to transform Mexico.
