It&#039;s about finding our own voice and turning it into collective action.<\/p>\n<p>That is why the collaboration between Citizen Initiative for the Promotion of the Culture of Dialogue and Voices and Agents (GOYN) was born, a training program aimed at 60 young people from the municipalities of Iztapalapa, Cuauht\u00e9moc (Mexico City) and Ecatepec (State of Mexico)<\/p>\n<p>Its purpose is to strengthen youth leadership and provide concrete tools to influence the public sphere with responsibility, strategy, and social commitment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does this process aim to achieve?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To empower young people capable of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design proposals that address real problems.<\/li>\n<li>To influence public policies with knowledge and strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Defend and promote human rights.<\/li>\n<li>To build a genuine culture of peace in their communities.<\/li>\n<li>Become multipliers who inspire and train other young people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Program Modules<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Youth Leadership and Advocacy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Youth, Democracy and Historical Memory<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Youth Agenda and Human Rights<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0State, Influence and Public Policies<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Legislative Initiatives and Citizen Participation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Stakeholder Mapping and Strategic Communication<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Political Violence and Collective Self-Care<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Peacebuilding and Community Dialogue<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Monitoring and Evaluation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u00a0Training of trainers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u2728 Why is it important?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Because when young people organize, train and participate, they not only transform their immediate environment: they contribute to changing the history of their communities.<\/p>\n<p>This program doesn&#039;t aim to create spectators, but rather conscious, critical, and committed leaders. Young people who understand how the system works, who know how to develop viable proposals, and who work for dignity, justice, and peace.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge is great.
